A Man Named "Bob"?

Here's something profound to ponder. After enjoying the 2010 Winter Olympics this year, my eight-year-old inquisitive son said to me the other day:

"Mom, did a man named Bob invent the Bobsled?"

He discovered that it wasn't a person it was named after, but the action of crews bobbing back and forth to increase their speed on straightways.)

Prayer Requests: On a more serious note, please pray for the family and friends of the Georgia Luger, Nodar Kumaritashvili who was killed prior to the opening of this year's Winter Olympics. Also, please pray for a boy in my son's second grade class who received a serious head injury in a sledding accident and had to be helicoptered to a hospital in February. Praise God that my son's friend was recently able to return to school this past week, but please continue to pray since there are limitations to the amount of activity this young boy is allowed to do after a serious head injury. You can imagine how difficult it will be to keep an active eight-year-old boy from playing outside for recess and participating in sports.
